new again

Ezekiel 37:1, 10
The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley, and it was full of bones. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

In a vision, Ezekiel finds himself amongst dry bones which spring to life. This was God’s way of promising He would restore the broken nation of Israel from its past mistakes and make it new again. We’re all reminded of our mistakes sometimes. However, those wrongs have no hold on us because Jesus took care of them at the cross. What’s in the past stays there. Today, embrace His forgiveness and be made new again.
