Psalm 139:7-10
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. NIV
Nitrogen, oxygen, and water vapor are just a few of the gases that combine to make up our atmosphere, commonly referred to as air. It is ever-present. It surrounds us and sustains our lives.
The psalmist asks, “where can we go without God?” The answer is, “nowhere”. Like air, He completely engulfs us, sustaining our lives through His infinite, matchless grace. Worship today by pausing for a moment. Quiet your soul. Then breathe Him in.
